Clearing buckthorn at Weatherstone Park

Club members will work alongside residents of New Berlin's Weatherstone subdivision to clear buckthorn from Weatherstone Park.

Stop by and say hello if you're in the area. (The park is at Wishire and Linfield, just east of Sunnyslope.) We'll be wearing the yellow "Rotarian At Work" safety vests. The public is welcome to help out. Be sure to dress appropriately, including strong shoes or work boots and work gloves. If you have a pair of loppers (for cutting brush), bring those along. If not, that's OK. Weatherstone volunteers supply the tools needed. We'll meet a  the shelter at 9:00 a.m., and proceed from there. No need to contact the club; merely show up.
