Judy Haselhoef
Micro lending to build local economies

Judy Haselhoef co-founded an organization in mountainous rural Haiti in 2007. It offered a program for leadership that partnered with the local people to help improve their economy. Her recently released book, GIVE and TAKE: Doing Our Damnedest NOT To Be Another Charity in Haiti, documents the lessons learned from six years and more than 40 projects.

Her presentation addresses one of those programs, micro lending. It will be held in a workshop format so that attendees can participate. Judy, a fellow Rotarian, visits us from the Waukesha Sunrise club.

Guests are welcome to attend this meeting, held at New Berlin Hills Golf Course, 13175 W. Graham St. Seating is limited. Please contact club president Shawn Schnabl to reserve your seat. You will find his email link on our home page.
